Ivoclar Vivadent denture teeth.

Denture Teeth

Of the many companies manufacturing these products, the two types that we most commonly use are from Ivoclar Vivadent. The S.R. Vivadent P.E. (based on Ivoclar's Cromo-scop shade guide), and Blueline (based on Vita's A-D shade guides). Other manufactures include: Vita, Schottlander, and T.N.R.

Enigma Colour Tone.

The Enigma System

Schottlander's Enigma System is an acrylic based material that is applied to the surface of prosthetics to enhance the aesthetics of both teeth and gums. It provides many custom shades, and can be used to replicate many different gingival tissue tones (for different ethnic groups for example).

Ivoclar Vivadent SR-Ivocap.

Ivocap injection materials

Part of Ivoclar's BPS system is the Ivocap injection moulding system. The Ivocap material offers high strength, low shrinkage, and precise fitment. It also bonds well, and is easy to clean. It is porosity free and bio-compatible.

Erkodent materials.

Thermoform materials. P.E.T.G, P.E, E.V.A, and S.B.S

These can be used to make sport mouth guards, or gum shields, of varying strengths and colours. They are also used for bleaching trays, and many other types of vacuum formed or pressure moulded dental appliances (such as the anti-snoring devices below). We use Erkodent materials amongst others.

An Erkodent Snoreguard silensor.

Silensor

We use Erkodent's Silensor materials to make anti-snoring devices.

Kohler Permaflex soft denture reliner.

Soft Liners

Kohler Medizintechnik's Permaflex is a soft resilient lining material for denture bases. It creates a soft lining between the denture and the gum tissue. It is tasteless, does not harden, and has long term elasticity. We also use Zhermack's Elite Soft Relining materials, and Molloplast B.

Ivoclar Vivadent ProBase cold cure materials.

Cold cure materials

These can be used to make temporaries, repairs, and relining's for dentures. Also they can be used to create custom stents. We use Ivoclar ProBase Cold monomer material, as it is self curing (i.e. it requires no heat to set) and sets without porosity. Warm water, and a Mestra pneumatic polymerising kettle, can accelerate the setting process if required.
