CAD Scanner

Using the Nobel Biocare Procera CAD/CAM system, technicians scan preparations in the lab before sending the resultant data off to be milled, in ceramic or titanium, at Nobel Biocare's production facilities in Sweden.

Nobel's CAD sotware produces a 3D computer image.

The scanned data is presented in a 3D image, that can be digitally sculpted to obtain the required result.

Custom Abutments

Custom abutments and copings can be produced in this way, allowing for precise angulation and fit (especially useful where implant placement is sub-gingival).
