Q: I need to see a dentist. Can I make an appointment
with you?
A: Yes, you can make appointments to see
our private practice dentist.
Q: You say “private” practice.
What does this mean? What are my options for dental treatment?
A: There are currently 3 general options
available to patients in England: NHS treatment (subsidized
national healthcare), insurance based treatment (Denplan,
BUPA etc.), and private treatment (full fee paying). Our
dental practice is a private practice and as such we require
patients to pay for all treatments and consultations they
receive.
Q: Can I pay by credit card or some other method of payment?
A: Credit card payments are accepted. Interest
free credit can be arranged but is subject to approval.
Q: Who do I contact to make an appointment?
A: Please telephone our
practice manager: 01803-211124.
Q: What if I am working, can I arrange an
appointment out of normal hours?
A: We can arrange early, lunch-time, and
late afternoon appointments so we have a more flexible
approach to dental treatments.
Q: Do you take new National Health patients?
A: Sorry but our surgery is for private
and referral use only. Information on how to find your
nearest NHS dentist is available via “NHS Direct” (Telephone
0845 4647). Their web site can be found at: http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk
Q: Is your dental practice Denplan registered?
Are you able to take on patients who already have a dental
insurance policy?
A: No, sorry not at this time.
Q: I would like to read some information on
general dental healthcare. Can you recommend any material?
A: You can start by reading our general oral health care information
web page at: www.radfordheath.com
Q: What Dental Services do you
offer?
A: Restorative and General Dentistry, with special
interests in:
Implantology.
Smile Design.
Tooth Whitening.
Invisalign Orthodontics (Tooth Movement without Braces).
Occlusion and TMJ Pain (Headaches and Aching Jaws).

Q: I am interested in having dental implants
but I would like to do some research before I decide. Where
